The Peapod Plus travel bed is suitable for babies, toddlers and small children up to 5 years of ages. It has a great design with a side opening to simplify putting your toddler to bed without hurting your back. You can also get into feed or change diapers easily. Once your child gets old enough to walk, the side access means they can get in and out themselves easily. It’s really cute, like a little tent.
The PeaPod Plus has screens to shield your toddler from the sun - up to 50% UV protection, as well as wind screens and a mosquito net. Great for using at the beach, on adventures or at the park.
The PeaPod Plus frame is very tough and folds simply and fast for storage. To set it up, just pop it open, and it’s ready instantly.
This is a great product for taking on visits to relatives, overnight stays in hotels etc. It packs down easily to fit in suitcases etc.
How does this compare to a toddler sleeping bag?
Good things about this product:
THE SHADES - block out a lot of light, meaning your child will rest more when inside, even when in exciting new surroundings. If it gets hot, you can roll up the shades to let a cool breeze in.
FOLDING- This is much simpler to pack than most folding products - when I tested it, I could get it looking like the picture in just a few attempts.
SIZE - Big enough for an average 5 years old to fit in, so it should last you well.
Things that could be better:
MATTRESS - it requires manual inflation, does’t self inflate. Not too difficult to blow up though.
ZIPS - the zippers on this can be opened from the inside. This is good for older kids, but could lead to toddler escapes with younger ones. You can fix this with a safety pin.
